“This is a holistic retreat, with a ‘whole-istic’ approach. Mapi & Rapa give the whole of themselves, their beloved home & resources. This is magic. It’s not about perfecting poses, it’s about perfecting the self or at least accepting the self. Perched atop a mountaintop hidden inside dense pines lies the DePura sanctuary. We glamped it up with a luxury bell tent with electricity & comfy plush furniture & eco nature shower. I loved laying on my very comfortable bed looking out at the varying greenery up to the stars. We were lucky enough to have both a magnificent mountain view of the sunrise as well as the sunset. There were 14 people on the grounds. Yet, I only saw them if I chose to otherwise I hid away to meditate, nap or read on the numerous fashionable hammocks & lounges well thought-out, hidden from plain sight, merged into the rosemary & aloe lined pathways. DePura’s wooden raised yoga deck was the best with 360-degree views of nature. Yoga: wonderful with a mix of different schools, specialized concentration on eclectic practices rare to find outside of India or Tibet. Something for everyone which gave a unique balance to the entire mission of peacefully merging the body, soul, and mind. I loved the aerial yoga hanging in this beautiful nature while feeling different sensations of inversion in the open air. Food: fresh, fanciful, everything tasty, vegan with creative, healthy, fulfilling from morning ’til night. I feel fortunate for such a meaningful experience with DePura & the friends & lessons I took away with me.”

“This retreat is a truly incredible and authentic experience. The location is fantastic and the grounds of the retreat are stunning. Rafa and Mapi are beautiful teachers. They really do care about each individuals experience at Depura and put their heart and soul into it. The week gives a good balance between activity and calm, making new friends and silence. There are plenty of places around Depura to chill in silence. The countryside is beautiful for an early morning walk. On two days we had day trips to the beach which was a great contrast to the countryside. I stayed in the bell tent which was brilliant. Amazing to feel so close to nature and the showers and toilet are nearby. Thanks Rafa and Mapi, can’t wait to return”

Your hospitality was really special: you are a kind and loving couple as is the team around you, Judit, Jessica and Ignacio who made our stay just perfect. And last but not least, your teachers and masseurs: you have a really great team of loving and supportive people. Thank you. From time to time, I check the ph level of my saliva. Usually it is around 6.6 to 6.8. With all the wonderful food and lack of sugar I checked it yesterday and today and it is around 7.2 which is almost perfect. We will be back”

“Esta aventura comenzó gracias a la loca de mi amiga Gloria, que con ella me embarqué para hacerlo, no conocía el yoga ni la meditación pero nos pilló en un momento de nuestras vidas que necesitábamos dar un golpe, romper con muchas cosas y dar un giro de 180º. “A moment away from the world
On top of a hill with 360 degrees beautiful views over sea and mountains lays DePura. DePura is not just a place, it is an experience of physically and mentally total relaxation and activity. Magical sunrise and sunset meditation, yoga in the middle of pine trees, healthy food, a refreshing jump in the pool, secluding yourself in one of the many hiding place to read a good book or simply drift away for a moment and let’s not forget flying with aero yoga and who would have thought that hanging upside down would be so relaxing!
But the most important are Rafa & Mapi, they are DePura and with their loving and small- scale approach they give a personal touch to the whole experience.

Bovenop en berg met 360 graden prachtig uitzicht over zowel zee als bergen ligt DePura. DePura is meer dan alleen een plek, het is een totaal belevenis van fysieke en mentale ontspanning en inspanning. Magische zonsop- en ondergang meditatie, yoga midden tussen de pijnbomen, samen gezond eten, een frisse duik in het zwembad, je terugtrekken in één van de vele plekjes om een goed boek te lezen of gewoon wat voor je uit te mijmeren en niet te vergeten de aero yoga waarmee je kan ‘vliegen’ en wie had gedacht dat ondersteboven hangen zo ontspannen kon zijn!
Maar misschien wel het allerbelangrijkste zijn Rafa en Mapi, zij zijn DePura en met hun liefdevolle en kleinschalige aanpak geven ze een persoonlijke touch aan de hele belevenis.”
